- Study multiple languages (3–4) . I was meeting a master student at the lab at McGill and he was speaking 4 languages as English as his fourth. It’s brain gymnastic and your knowledge become arborescent.
- Have a complex database of knowledge. Be an encyclopedia, there’s no limit on what the human mind can stock as information. Go to the complex first (science) then jump to humanities. It’s easier to go to the complex then easiest than do the opposite. Then hopefully try to communicate it so everyone can understand what you know.
- On a money basis make proper investments by taking into account geopolitical situations. It’s much more complex than this, but this is not my field. The more point of views, the easiest it becomes to have an holistic view and take better decisions.
- Feynman technique, simplify at the maximum your knowledge.
- Share what you know, 90% of the learning is made by teaching. Empty your glass full of wine and share it with others then fill it again.
- Like Steve Jobs said at the end of his Stanford speech : Stay hungry, stay foolish all the time.
- Stretch yourself by reading books to have new ideas flowing inside your mind. If Bill Gates found the time to read before sleep, you should too.
- View problems as opportunities to grow. Like Jim Carrey said : “View problems as ways to deal with them in the most productive way. You’ll find your own style. That’s part of the fun.”
- Unsuccessful people see problems as barriers, successful people are seeing problems as opportunities.
