[root@rhels73 robot]# mount -t cifs -o username=administrator,password=citrix //10.108.16.56/lnxvda-rf/ROBOT /opt/robot
mount error(112): Host is down
Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g. man mount.cifs)
I had this issue, then discovered that adding one of the following to the mount options makes it work! No idea why though - is the kernel module failing to auto-negotiate?
vers=2.1 vers=3.0
[root@rhels73 robot]# mount -t cifs -o username=administrator,password=citrix,vers=3.0 //10.108.16.241/lnxvda-rf/ROBOT /opt/robot
