Once you have installed an SVN client you need to go through the following steps (instructions and screenshots below are for Subclipse but should be similar for Subversive).
- Switch to the SVN Repository Exploring perspective (from the Window→Open Perspective→Other... menu)
- Click on the New Repository Location button on the SVN Repositories view and enter the following details
- URL: http://dev.eclipse.org/svnroot/modeling/org.eclipse.epsilon/
- (If you have committer rights you should set the URL to https://dev.eclipse.org/svnroot/modeling/org.eclipse.epsilon/ instead - note https vs. http)
- Open the trunk node
- Select the sub-folders of plugins and features, right-click and check them out as follows
- Accept the default settings in the dialog that pops-up and click Finish
Running the Epsilon plugins
To run the Epsilon plugins, switch back to the Plug-in Development perspective, right-click on any of the projects you have just checked out and clickRun as→Eclipse Application. A new instance of Eclipse with the Epsilon plugins loaded should pop up shortly.
