• J. Welles Wilder是谁？

这是个熟悉的名字，在上一篇《量化指标ATR(Average True Range真实波动幅度均值)及其发明人Welles Wilder的前世今生》，其中有介绍。

这个MTM指标也是这位老哥发明的（大约在1970年代末期），还是那本书。

• MTM指标

MTM（Momentum），动量，就是考察证券价格变化的速度。

现在，基本但凡是从技术分析角度研究市场的，都会涉及这个指标。
$MTM = close_{today} - close_{N days ago}$
JOHN J.MURPHY的书《Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets》对这些基本的指标有详细的介绍。
