Although opinion is divided on the best way to improve learning efficiency, it is universally accepted that motivation and method are two significant factors that determine the outcome of learning.

　　Motivation is a state that energize us and sustain our behavior. It moves us to action so that we do not just keep thinking "I will learn this and that" but never actually take action. Besides, motivation enables us to work towards our academic goals by instilling in us persistence that keeps us going whenever learning appears as something unpleasant and torturous. Without motivation, we are very likely to yeild to the temptation and give up. Method is another important factor in learning. Just as compass is important to navigation, so is method to learning because it prevents us from being lost in the sea of Knowledge. It so substantially improves learning efficiency and effectiveness that we have more time to learn what we intend to learn.  

　　Overall, motivation and method are of great significance in learning and it can be expected that those with these two tend to be more productive in their studying.
